The water-heating fuel heater is a kind of electrical-control heating equipment jointly drived by fan & fuel pump. The heater,using diesel oil as the fuel, takes advantages of impeller's rotation drived by the fan to make diesel oil burn in the combustion chamber. The heat is released through metal shell to heat the cooling liquid. The heat exchange is non-stop between metal shell and flowing air. Finally, the whole space is heated to preheat the engine and avoid cold start & abrasion.When working, the water-heating parking heater is not affected by the engine. The HLN Aquano 5K coolant heaters will not only preheat the engines to avoid cold start, but can also operate continuously during normal engine operations, to provide an optimal engine operating temperature. During extreme cold weathers, such as those below -20°C, the engine would need extra heat supply even during its operations. The HLN Aquano 5K coolant heaters can do just that. The HLN coolant heaters have an optimized control program that can automatically change the heaters’ output according to engine coolant temperature, to keep the engine running at a desired environment. At the same time, the fuel consumption by the heater is also optimized to reduce the cost.
The HLN Aquano coolant heaters preheat the engines in cold weathers to reduce engine wear at the starting stage. At the initial engine starting stage, there is no lubricant on the engine cylinder bore and pistons. Low temperature causes lubricant to increase in viscosity, causing it hard to splash lubricant on to the engine cylinder or pistons. With HLN coolant heaters, the lubricant becomes warm before the engine starts, making the entire cylinder – piston system better lubricated and protected at the engine starting stage. Thus, engine wear reduces significantly and long-term vehicle maintenance cost also reduced.
